“How often should I practice Breathwork?”

It’s a question I get asked often—and the answer is simple, but personal. I always encourage my clients to practice conscious breathwork at home, either daily or whenever they feel called to. There’s no rigid schedule, just a gentle invitation to tune into what your body and soul need.

Short Daily Practices – Your Inner Reset

At-home sessions are most effective when kept short—15 to 20 minutes is plenty. These shorter practices are wonderful for when:

  • You’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed

  • You need to release the stress of the day

  • Emotions are bubbling under the surface and need space to be felt

Even a brief session can shift your state, bring you back into presence, and reconnect you with your heart.

When It’s Time to Go Deeper

Longer Breathwork journeys are better saved for moments when you want to:

  • Explore and clear an old story or pattern

  • Move through something deeply emotional

  • Seek clarity and connection with your inner guidance

This is when working with a trained facilitator is most beneficial. Having someone hold space for you allows you to feel safe and supported as you navigate deeper layers of your subconscious and emotional body.

I generally recommend fortnightly or monthly guided sessions while you're actively working through something. Once you begin to feel more resolution and peace within, you may feel drawn to return for deeper journeys as needed—especially when old stories are triggered or when you're ready to uncover and release the next layer.
